AYANO TQM Excellence Award Sri Lanka 2024
“The Ayano TQM Excellence Award, (named after Prof Katsutoshi Ayano) was launched in 2021 by the SLAAQP. This honour will be awarded annually to organizations that have implemented TQM compatible with its management philosophy, scope, type, scale of business and the management environment. Regardless of the type of business, any organization can apply for the award under certain prevailing conditions, whether it is public or private, large or small, domestic or overseas, local or export, or is a part of an entire organization.”
There is no limit to the number of potential applicants or recipients of the awards each year.
All organizations that score the minimum requirement of points or above upon examination by qualified evaluators will be awarded the Ayano TQM Excellence Award for that year.
Application Requirements
The Ayano TQM Excellence Award is open to applicant organization that realises the following three achievements by means of TQM.
a) Ability to demonstrate clear management policies that reflect its management philosophy, industry, scale and environment, and whether the organization has established proactive customer–oriented business objectives through strategies based on social responsibility philosophy of the organization and whether the top management can exhibit leadership in their formulation.
b) Whether TQM is suitably utilised and implemented for the realization of business objectives of the organisation through strategies mentioned under a) above.
c) Organizational capabilities required for future growth has been secured as a result of implementing b) along with the achievement of business objectives through strategies outlined as a) above.
Fees for Ayano TQM Excellence Awards 2024
Application fee of Rs.80,000/- will be charged initially. This will be set off against the total fee paid. All applicants qualify for a 40% discount.
- Transport and hotel accommodation costs (if necessary) for Site Visits must be borne by the applicant company prior to the visit on estimate provided
- The number of members in the evaluation team will be decided upon application.
- Stage I will prepare companies for stage II and Stage III
Ayano TQM Excellence Award-Secretariat
To carry out the Ayano TQM Excellence Award Committee’s administrative duties, the secretariat for the committee was established at SLAAQP. When applying for the award, organisations are encouraged to consult with the Secretariat as and when the need arises for application procedures, general questions and clarifications about the Ayano TQM Excellence Award.
